I am thrilled to announce the availability of updated release candidates for both
Numba and llvmlite. Please see the release notes for highlights of the release.
- Numba 0.62.0rc2
- Install from PyPi.org:

As usual, llvmlite is a dependency of Numba, so if you installed Numba as above you do not also need to install llvmlite.

Since this is the second release candidate you can continue to check your software. However, the second release candidate has the purpose to solidify the Numba team’s artifact production, so not too much about the actual Numba/llvmlite source code has changed and the expectation is that everything will continue to work for you. As you may recall, the Numba 0.62.0rc1 was lacking wheels on PyPi – that issue has now been rectified.
