# Public Meeting, Tuesday February 02 2021

The next Numba public meeting is Tuesday 02 February 2021, [same details as usual](https://numba.discourse.group/t/weekly-open-dev-meeting-2021/417).

Items for this meeting include:

- Numba 0.53 Release Candidate progress (brief update).

As for topics I propose we talk a bit more about Numba having an `ArrayLike` type as a base class for `numba.types.Array` and others. This with view of letting other code bases and compilers “borrow” Numba implementations cheaply. It would be good to get into some of the details of what’s needed and how to handle it. Other topic suggestions are welcomed, please do comment below.
