# \[ANN\] Numba 0.64.0rc1 (NumPy 2.4 support)

A new RC is now available for Numba, adding NumPy 2.4 support.  
For a list of changes, please see the release note at [this link](https://numba.readthedocs.io/en/0.64.0rc1/release/0.64.0-notes.html).

- Numba 0.64.0rc1
  - Install from [PyPi.org](http://PyPi.org):  
`pip install numba==0.64.0rc1`
  - Install from [anaconda.org](http://anaconda.org):  
`conda install -c numba numba=0.64.0rc1`

There are no new release for llvmlite.

If you maintain software that depends on `Numba`, please help us test this RC and report anything you find either in the thread below or via the issue tracker.
